Abstract

An electromagnet unit for improving or promoting plant growth or development, the unit comprising:- a plurality of electric conductors, wherein the plurality of conductors extend, or are arranged, in a XY-plane, the plurality of conductors comprises, or is composed of, a first set of conductors and a second set of conductors, wherein the first set of conductors extend in parallel and are distributed, or spread out, in a first pattern in the XY-plane, and the second set of conductors are distributed, or spread out, in a second pattern in the XY-plane,- wherein the conductors of the first set are linear, or straight, and extend, or are arranged, in a first direction, or a Y-direction, of the XY-plane, and- wherein the conductors of the second set are composed of a first part that extends in the first direction, and a part that extends in a second direction, or X-direction,- wherein the second direction is transverse to, the first direction,wherein the first pattern is super positioned the second pattern, and together define, or form, combined pattern, in the XY-plane,- wherein the conductors are electrically insulated from one another in the combined pattern,- wherein the conductors are configured to be operationally coupled to an electric power source for generating a current in each of the conductors.
