Abstract

An apparatus for fastening wire includes a housing, a spool positioned in the housing and configured to wind a wire, a dial cover rotatably mounted over the housing and providing an entry hole at a center thereof, and an operating unit including a fixing plate covering a top surface of the dial cover and maintaining limited rotation with respect to the housing, and a clutch mounted to be rotatable with respect to the fixing plate, wherein the dial cover maintains a fixed height with respect to the housing and the fixing plate maintains a fixed non-rotating state regardless of rotation of the dial cover.
