Abstract

A detection apparatus is configured to detect vibration of a subject. The detection apparatus includes a diaphragm (206) configured to deform in response to vibration of the subject, a housing (208) including the diaphragm, and a grip (120) extending in a longitudinal direction, the grip being joined to the housing so as to be pivotable relative to the housing about a rotation axis that extends in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction. An outer surface of the grip includes a flat surface that, when viewed in a direction normal to the diaphragm, is positioned so as to overlap the diaphragm.
