Abstract

The present invention relates to a water reservoir for an apparatus for humidifying a flow of breathable gas, comprising a reservoir body, the reservoir body comprising a conductive portion provided at a lower portion of the reservoir body, wherein the conductive portion includes a peripheral interfacing portion structured and arranged to connect the conductive portion to one or more walls of the reservoir body, wherein the peripheral interfacing portion includes an intermediate portion extending from a sloped portion and an end portion that extends from the intermediate portion, wherein the end portion is bent so as to be at least inclined with respect to the intermediate portion, and wherein a radius of curvature of the bend of the end portion is substantially equal to or greater than a thickness of the conductive portion at the end portion.
