Abstract

The invention provides, amongst other aspects, a golf putting device comprising: an ejector configured to eject a golf ball; a first sensor configured to emit first waves and measure a reflection of said emitted first waves; and a processor, wherein the device is configured to be changed between: a first state in which the ejector is configured to eject a first golf ball at a first predetermined speed, the first sensor is configured to measure first reflected waves reflected from the ejected first golf ball, and the processor is configured to determine a green speed based on the first predetermined speed of the ejected first golf ball and the measured first reflected waves, and a second state in which the first sensor is configured to measure second reflected waves reflected from a target point, the processor is configured to determine a target distance to the target point based on the measured second reflected waves, and the ejector is configured to eject a second golf ball at a second predetermined speed based on the determined green speed and the determined target distance.
