Abstract

A method for performing a pressure control in a gas phase reactor system, a control system for executing the method for performing the pressure control in the gas phase reactor system, and the gas phase reactor system are provided. The method comprises a second-valve adjustment step, in which an opening pressure of a second valve for discharging a discharge mixture from a gas phase reactor to a recovery area is adjusted to a value equal to or higher than an opening pressure of a first valve for the supply to the gas phase reactor. Thereby, the gas phase reactor can be operated in a pressure range between the first-valve opening pressure and the second-valve opening pressure, and a workload placed on the recovery area of the gas phase reactor system is decreased.
