Abstract

A liquid guiding portion (114) of a liquid application device (100), wherein the liquid guiding portion (114) comprises an inlet (116) configured to allow inflow of the liquid into the liquid guiding portion (114), and an outlet (118) configured to allow outflow of the liquid from the liquid guiding portion (114). The liquid guiding portion (114) is characterized in that the liquid guiding portion (114) is formed from a first component (120) and a second component (122), wherein the first component (120) comprises a rigid structure which is configured to provide structural rigidity to the liquid guiding portion (114), and wherein the second component (122) comprises a frost compensating material, and is configured to change its volume due to a temperature change. Further, the first component (120) is integrally formed with the second component (122).
