Abstract
An FRP bar forming apparatus (1) configured to form an FRP bar (8) from a plurality of reinforcing fiber bundles (7). The apparatus (1) includes an impregnation device (2) and a drawing device (3). The impregnation device (2) includes a resin tank (11). The resin tank (11) includes an introduction portion (11a) and a discharge portion (11b). The apparatus (1) draws out each of the reinforcing fiber bundles (7) passing through the resin tank (11) from the resin tank (11) by the drawing device (3). The apparatus (1) further includes a twisting device (6) provided downstream of the resin tank (11) and twists the reinforcing fiber bundles (7) so as to twist together the plurality of reinforcing fiber bundles (7) in the gathered state. The impregnation device (2) includes: a first guide plate (21), a second guide plate (22), and a fiber-opening structure (31). The fiber-opening structure (31) includes a fiber-opening portion (33) and an inner guide portion (32).
