Abstract

A railway wagon for transportation of swap bodies, in particular containers, is length-adjustable, consisting of length-adjustable end sections (1) (overhangs) and a length-adjustable middle section (2) for flexible adjustment of wagon length for the purposes of efficient transport by rail. The end (overhang) section (1) of the wagon is designed for the installation of buffers, automatic coupling, for placement of push-pull rods, or buffers for short coupling of wagons, thus enabling creation of double and multi-section wagon length versions (80', 90', 92', 96', 104', and others).
