Abstract
The present invention provides a means for reduction of waste liquid treatment cost in a technique for lithium recovery from a lithium ion-containing aqueous solution. According to the present invention, a lithium recovery method is provided that is a method of recovering lithium from a lithium ion-containing aqueous solution and includes obtaining a mixture containing a gas hydrate, from a gas and the lithium ion-containing aqueous solution, separating the gas hydrate from the mixture to obtain a concentrated aqueous lithium ion solution (1), and recovering lithium from the concentrated aqueous lithium ion solution (1).
