Abstract

A sewing management system includes a sewing machine (2) and a management device (3). The management device (3) includes a computation unit (13) for obtaining an operator skill indicating, in numerical form, a skill in a sewing operation of an operator who uses the sewing machine (2), and an information acquisition unit (11) for acquiring operation information (151) from the sewing machine (2) in order to obtain the operator skill. The operation information (151) includes information for acquiring an actual work time of a plurality of work processes included in the sewing operation and achieved numbers of pieces of the plurality of work processes, and the computation unit (13) obtains the operator skill on the basis of a target processing time defined for the plurality of work processes, an actual work time of the plurality of work processes, and a process difficulty defined for the plurality of work processes.
