Abstract
A turbo compressor includes an impeller including a hub and a blade provided on an outer peripheral surface of the hub, a shaft connected to the impeller, a bearing supporting the shaft, a casing accommodating the impeller, the shaft, and the bearing, and including a first surface facing the blade, a gap sensor provided in the casing and configured to detect a size of a gap between the impeller and the first surface, and a control unit configured to control the size of the gap based on the size of the gap detected by the gap sensor.
