Abstract

A refrigeration appliance, including: a housing defining at least one storage compartment; a door movably connected to the front of the housing to open or close at least a part of the storage compartment, the door including a front wall defining a front surface of the refrigeration appliance and a first side wall always located between the front wall and the storage compartment during opening and closing of the door; and a hinge fixed to the housing and including a hinge shaft extending towards the door, the door being movably connected to the housing by using the hinge shaft; where when the door is in a state of closing the storage compartment, a first end of the first side wall close to the housing has a first spacing to the housing, the first spacing being less than or equal to a second distance from an axis of the hinge shaft to the front wall, and the second distance being less than a third distance, the third distance being a vertical distance between the axis of the hinge shaft and the first end in a thickness direction of the door. By using the design of the hinge in the solution of the present disclosure, interference between the door and a cabinet during the opening can be reduced.
