Abstract
In one embodiment, the electric system (1) comprises a static electric induction device (2) and a corrosion-sensitive coating (31), wherein- the electric system (1) further comprises a protective coating (4) to protect a component (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) of the electric system (1) from an exterior (A) of the electric system (1),- the corrosion-sensitive coating (31) comprises a luminescent material (30) and is applied on a substrate (34) of the component so that the corrosion-sensitive coating (31) is located between the substrate (34) and the protective coating (4), and- the luminescent material (30) is configured to emit luminescence (L) upon activation by at least one of a change of a pH value or occurrence of metal ions caused by corrosion of the substrate (34) so that the corrosion-sensitive coating (31) is configured to provide information about a corrosion state of the component.
