Abstract
A measurement method includes measuring fluorescent light emitted from fluorescent dyes of each of a plurality of fine particles that are bound with the fluorescent dyes, and measuring reference light emitted from each of the plurality of fine particles, using a plurality of solutions in which the plurality of fine particles are dispersed, acquiring, for each of the plurality of solutions, a ratio of particles for which both the fluorescent light from the fluorescent dyes and the reference light are detected in the plurality of fine particles, and acquiring a minimum number of fluorescent dyes detectable by a measurement apparatus (1000), based on the ratio for each of the plurality of solutions.
