Abstract
A specimen measurement system (1) comprises: a measurement unit (2) configured to measure a specimen; and a control unit (7) configured to analyze measurement data. The measurement unit (2) comprises: a first reagent container (230) accommodating a first reagent containing a substance that binds to an analyte in the specimen; a reagent holder (23) configured to hold the first reagent container (230); a specimen processor (21) configured to prepare a measurement sample by mixing the first reagent and the specimen; and a detector (22) configured to interrogate the analyte. The measurement unit (2) is arranged on a housing (24) that stores a second reagent container (240) containing a second reagent used for: (i) washing of a flow path of the measurement unit (2), (ii) dilution of the specimen, (iii) preparation of the measurement sample, and (iv) interrogation of the analyte of the measurement sample by the detector (22).
