Abstract

A distance measurement apparatus and a self-travelling device. The distance measurement apparatus (200) comprises an emission assembly (210), a receiving mirror (220), a detection assembly (230) and a controller, wherein the receiving mirror (220) is spaced apart from the emission assembly (210); the detection assembly (230) is positioned near a focal plane of the receiving mirror (220); the emission assembly (210) comprises at least two emission light sources, the light emission directions of which are not parallel to each other, the emission light sources are configured to emit toward a target object (300) detection light having a divergence angle; the detection assembly (230) comprises at least two photosensitive surfaces; the photosensitive surfaces are configured to receive information of reflected light that is reflected back by the target object (300) and passes through the receiving mirror (220); the controller is electrically connected to the emission light sources and the detection assembly (230); and the controller is configured to temporally control the operation of each emission light source and determine a measured distance of the target object (300) on the basis of the information of the reflected light of the same emission light source that is received by each photosensitive surface.
