Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a control method and apparatus for a multimedia playback application, and an electronic device. The method comprises: in the process of a multimedia playback application playing multimedia content, in response to a terminal device entering a locked screen state, displaying a first playback control area and a second playback control area of the multimedia playback application in a lock screen interface, the second playback control area comprising at least one interaction control used for triggering at least one interaction operation for the multimedia playback application; and in response to a user selecting a target interaction control among the at least one interaction control, controlling the multimedia playback application to execute a target interaction operation corresponding to the target interaction control among the at least one interaction operation, and displaying a target interaction result corresponding to the target interaction operation in the first playback control area.
