Abstract

The image analysis apparatus comprises an image generation unit that generates a first two-dimensional image and a second two-dimensional image, and a difference calculation unit that calculates a difference between the first two-dimensional image and the second two-dimensional image. The image generation unit generates the first two-dimensional image representing a first three-dimensional model as a two-dimensional plane viewed from a first viewpoint in a first virtual space, the first three-dimensional model being generated based on a measurement result of a shape of an object at a first time in a real space. The image generation unit generates the second two-dimensional image representing a second three-dimensional model as a two-dimensional plane viewed from a second viewpoint in a second virtual space, the second three-dimensional model being generated based on a measurement result of a shape of the object at a second time in the real space. A same coordinate system is set in the first virtual space and the second virtual space. In the coordinate system, a position and a viewing direction of the second viewpoint are a same as a position and a viewing direction of the first viewpoint, respectively.
