Abstract

(Solution) There is provides an apparatus including a processor, wherein the processor receives a plurality of captured images capturing a flow channel through which a microbe flows, and extracts a plurality of microbial images capturing a same individual of the microbe from the plurality of captured images. In the above-described apparatus, the flow channel may include a vortex generator which generates a vortex in an image-capturing area in the flow channel, in which the plurality of captured images are captured. In any of the above-described apparatus, the processor may receive the plurality of captured images which capture the flow channel at different timings.
