Abstract
A cardiopulmonary resuscitation simulation system employing a CPR manikin (30) and a transducive signal modulator (40). In operation, the transducive signal modulator (40) derives a corrupted simulated electrocardiogram signal from a signal modulation of a clean simulated electrocardiogram signal electromechanically responsive to an oscillating compression depth of the CPR manikin (30) during a simulated application of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the CPR manikin (30), and further derives the corrupted simulated thoracic impedance signal from a signal modulation of a clean simulated thoracic impedance signal electromechanically responsive to an oscillating deformation of the CPR manikin (30) during the simulated application of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the CPR manikin (30).
