Abstract
Disclosed herein is a computer-implemented method of operating a remote medical imaging control system (300, 400, 500) that comprises at least one medical imaging node (302) with a medical imaging system (310) and a local controller (312). The at least one medical imaging node comprises a node specific control interface (314) with a screen replicator (404) and an input peripheral (406). The remote medical imaging control system further comprises at least one control node (304, 306). The method comprises: repeatedly monitoring (200) the at least one medical imaging node and repeatedly updating (202) its operational status (122) in a system status database (124); repeatedly monitoring (204) the at least one control node and updating (206) its the operational status (126) in the system status database; and providing (208) a system status (128) of the remote medical imaging control system using the system status database.
