Abstract
A method for configuring a CT image data set to improve interoperability without increasing data package size. The method comprises compiling CT image data into a DICOM data object with DICOM metadata, and wherein the compiled CT image data includes both images compressed in a form that is DICOM readable and images compressed in a form that is not DICOM readable.
