Abstract

Provided herein is a secondary battery and an electrical device. The secondary battery satisfies a relationship of formula (1): 0.15 ≤ Me . × A × σ × α η × PD ≤ 10 <img class="EMIRef" id="cb9e2178-1d08-4946-939c-774a6b05225c-ia01" /> Me. represents an electrolyte retention coefficient of an electrolyte in the secondary battery in g/Ah; A represents a mass ratio of a fluorine-containing additive to a cyclic carbonate additive in the electrolyte; σ represents an electric conductivity of the electrolyte in mS/cm; α represents a porosity of a positive electrode plate; η represents a viscosity of the electrolyte at 25°C in mPa·s; PD represents a compaction density of a positive electrode active material layer in g/cm<3>. The electrolyte retention coefficient of the battery, the positive electrode plate, and the electrolyte additives are all controlled, so as to satisfy specific requirements, thereby significantly improving the fast-charging performance and low-temperature discharging performance of the secondary battery.
