Abstract
An electrical connector and an electrical connector assembly are described herein. The electrical connector includes: a conductive terminal; an insulated terminal housing configured to at least partially accommodate the terminal; and a die-cast housing configured to at least partially accommodate the terminal housing. The electrical connector further includes: a first sealing component which is sleeved onto the terminal; and a second sealing component which is sleeved onto the terminal housing; the terminal is configured to be axially inserted in place into the terminal housing in response to the first sealing component being sleeved onto the terminal, with the first sealing component being pressed against and sealed between the terminal and the terminal housing; and the terminal housing is configured to be inserted in place into the die-cast housing in response to the second sealing component being sleeved onto the terminal housing, with the second sealing component being pressed against and sealed between the terminal housing and the die-cast housing.
