Abstract
A mobile inter-operability gateway device may include a processor and an associated memory. The processor may be configured to communicate, using a mobile internet protocol (MIP), with a MIP foreign agent device for communicating, using the MIP, with a mobile network host that communicates based upon the MIP and a Locator ID Separation Protocol (LISP). The processor may also be configured to translate between MIP and LISP communications, and communicate, using the LISP, with a LISP home agent device configured to communicate using the LISP.
