A method of processing one or more blocks of a picture selects one of a matrix-based intra prediction method and a non-matrix-based intra prediction method, and using the selected prediction method for predicting a block of the picture, or combines a matrix-based intra prediction method and a non-matrix-based intra prediction method and using the combined prediction method for predicting a block of the picture.
