Abstract
ABSTRACT A method for monitoring social isolation of a user, the method comprising the following steps: - obtaining, via a hearing aid device, at least one data element about the user or the user environment, - obtaining a social engagement score based on the at least one data element, the social engagement score indicating how much the user is socially engaged, - emitting an alert signal when the social engagement score indicates that the user is socially isolated.
