Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide a data import method, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium. In the data import method, a first electronic device sends a Bluetooth advertising packet, then receives a request that is for displaying a visible light screen and that is sent by a second electronic device via a Bluetooth connection, and displays a visible light screen. Next, the first electronic device receives an authorization request sent by the second electronic device via the Bluetooth connection, performs authorization authentication with the second electronic device based on a connection code carried in the authorization request, after the authorization authentication succeeds, establishes a data transmission channel between the first electronic device and the second electronic device, and imports data of the second electronic device into the first electronic device, so that when a user has an old device, a configuration procedure of a new device is streamlined, and a configuration process of the new device is integrated with a cloning process, thereby creating a seamless configuration experience of the new device for the user. In addition, a visible light manner is used for authorization authentication, so that an interaction experience of identifying a connection code for the user can be improved.
