Abstract

A method performed by an access and mobility node for interworking handover from a fifth generation system (5GS) to an evolved packet system (EPS) is provided. The method comprises forwarding a relocation request for a user equipment (UE) to a mobility management node. The relocation request comprises a user plane (UP) security policy and a UP security activation status for a packet data unit (PDU) session established between a source node and the UE. The PDU session being mapped to a packet data network (PDN) connection in the EPS for the UE being handed over to the mobility management node.
