Abstract

A base station is disclosed which includes a control unit configured to perform a handover of a relay User Equipment (relay UE) including a Sidelink relay function to another base station in a situation where a Sidelink connection is established with a remote User Equipment (remote UE) via the relay UE, wherein in a case where the control unit determines to perform the handover of the relay UE to the other base station in a state where the remote UE is relayed via the relay UE, the control unit performs predetermined control related to communication on the remote UE prior to the handover of the relay UE.
