Abstract
The present application provides a radio link recovery method and terminal devices. The method comprises: a terminal device acquires a first parameter of a serving cell and/or an LTM candidate cell, the first parameter being used for representing the channel quality of the serving cell and/or the LTM candidate cell; and, on the basis of the first parameter of the serving cell and/or the LTM candidate cell, the terminal device determines whether to perform a radio link recovery operation. On the basis of the first parameter of the LTM candidate cell and/or the serving cell, the embodiments of the present application can predetermine the condition of channel deterioration, so as to perform the radio link recovery operation earlier, thus helping to shorten the time during which the terminal device is located in scenarios having poor channel connections, and facilitating rapid recovery of radio links.
