Abstract
The present invention refers to an intravascular imaging catheter, comprising: an elongate sheath having a distal tip region and a body region; wherein the distal tip region includes a first port, a second port, and a guidewire lumen extending between the first port and the second port; a support member extending from a distal end of the distal tip region, along the distal tip region, and along at least a portion of the body region; wherein the support member is radially and/or circumferentially aligned with the guidewire lumen; and an imaging core slidably disposed within the elongate sheath.
