Abstract

Process for treating a gas mixture, comprising drying said gas mixture by adsorption according to an adsorption cycle involving at least one adsorber (6) loaded with adsorbent, said gas mixture comprising moisture as well as a component A, wherein the adsorption cycle comprises : - an adsorption phase during which moisture is adsorbed and component A is co-adsorbed as well, - a regeneration phase comprising a step of regenerating the adsorbent by desorbing moisture as well as component A with a first regeneration stream (E1) comprising component A, at a component A first partial pressure in the adsorber (6), followed by a step of regenerating the adsorbent with a second regeneration stream (E2), at a component A second partial pressure in the adsorber (6) below said first partial pressure, thereby desorbing remaining moisture.
