Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide a transport device, which allows, with compact structure, transportation of the transport object with a variety of protrusion. Accordingly, the present invention provides a transport device for transporting a transport object having a protrusion that protrudes from a flat base, and includes a plurality of grip units for gripping the transport object while having the grip unit pressed against a base surface of the transport object. At least one of the grip units has a shape to cover at least a part of a side surface of the protrusion without covering a leading end surface of the protrusion. For example, the shape corresponds to a notch shape along the side surface of the protrusion in a circumferential direction.
