Abstract
The invention relates a process for removal of elastic adhesives or sealants in which a first substrate having a second substrate attached to said first substrate via at least one silicone joint is contacted with a composition comprising water at a temperature within the range of from 50°C to 150°C to remove said at least one silicone joint and to detach said second substrate from said first substrate.
