Abstract

A delaminable laminated packaging material (10) for packaging of liquid or semi-liquid food products comprises as layers of a layer sequence: - an outermost protective material layer (16); - a bulk layer (11) of paper or paperboard or other cellulose-based material; - a releasable adhesive coating (12) comprising a water-dispersible polymer selected from ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, acrylic copolymer, styrene-butadiene copolymer and ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer coated onto the inner surface of the bulk layer (11); - a gas barrier layer (14) comprising a barrier substrate (14a) and a barrier material layer (14b), or comprising a gas barrier polymer, the gas barrier layer being bonded to the releasable adhesive coating (12); and - an innermost liquid-tight material layer (19), which is optionally comprised in the barrier substrate (14a). A packaging container comprising the material and methods of making and recycling the material and container are also described.
