Abstract

A formulation support device including: an image generation unit configured to predict, based on a image to be printed, a plate-making condition of a printing plate, and a printing condition, dots of each color in printed matter obtained by printing the image to be printed based on the plate-making condition and the printing condition, and to generate predicted image for each color represented by the dots; and an image composition unit configured to synthesize a composite predicted image based on a plurality of the predicted image for each colors.
