Abstract

[Problems] To downsize the unit that has the fixed shaft at the center and outputs the motive force from the hub at the outermost circumference. [Solutions] The unit includes: a fixed shaft; a speed reduction mechanism having a portion positioned at an outer circumference of the fixed shaft; a transmission mechanism having a portion positioned at the outer circumference of the fixed shaft; a motor having a portion positioned at the outer circumference of the fixed shaft; and a hub having a portion positioned at an outer circumference of the motor, wherein the motor is connected to the hub via the speed reduction mechanism, the transmission mechanism is connected to the hub by bypassing the speed reduction mechanism, and when viewed from the radial direction, the transmission mechanism has a portion overlapping with the motor.
