Abstract
This invention provides a method of immunoassay comprising detecting an antibody specific to Treponema pallidum in the serum with the use of the Treponema pallidum 47 kDa antigen (TpN47) as the antigen. This invention also provides a protein comprising a sequence deleted a part of the amino acid sequence of domain C of TpN47, and a method of immunoassay involving the use of such protein as the antigen.
