Abstract

Described is a laundry treating apparatus including: a cabinet (100) having a laundry inlet defined in a front side thereof; a tub (210) disposed inside the cabinet (100) and including an air outlet (211) that discharges air and an air inlet (212) that is disposed forwardly of the air outlet (211) and sucks air; a drum (220) rotatably disposed inside the tub (210) and constructed to accommodate laundry therein; a circulation duct (800) disposed upwardly of the tub (210) and defining a flow channel for guiding air discharged from the air outlet (211) to the air inlet (212); a heat exchanger assembly (900) including an evaporator (910), a condenser (920) and a compressor (940) that is disposed downwardly of the tub (210); a connection portion including a front connection portion (840) connecting the air inlet (212) with the circulation duct (800) and a rear connection portion (850) allowing the air outlet (211) and the circulation duct (800) to be in communication with each other; a bracket (830) coupled to a lower end of the rear connection portion (850); and a support (880) fixed to the tub (210) and supporting the bracket (830) to be seated on an upper end of the air outlet (211), wherein the bracket (830) is coupled to the support (880) and allows the circulation duct (800) and the air outlet (211) to be in communication with each other.
