Abstract
The invention describes a wind turbine drive train (7) for transmitting torque from a wind rotor (4) to a generator (9) comprising a rotor shaft (6) supported in a rotor front bearing (25) and a rotor rear bearing (26). The rotor front bearing (25) and the rotor rear bearing (26) are pretensioned against each other. A gearbox (8) is connected to the rotor shaft (6), and a gearbox support (31) fixed to a gearbox housing (30). The gearbox support (31) is configured to be connected to pretension means (42) configured to pretension the rotor shaft (6) in an axial direction of the rotor shaft (6) .The invention further describes a wind turbine for use in reinstating preload in a bearing of such a wind turbine drive rain (7); and a method of reinstating a preload force in a bearing of a wind turbine drive train (7).
