Abstract

Refrigerator including a cabinet (10) having an open front, and one or more doors configured to open and close the front of the cabinet. A fixed shell (42) is mounted to the door, and a moving shell (41) is configured to vertically move along the door. At least a portion of the cabinet forms a refrigerating compartment (20), and the door opens and closes the refrigerating compartment. The fixed shell and the moving shell together form a convertible compartment (40) that is separated from the refrigerating compartment.
