Abstract

This application provides a depth value determining method, a device, a chip system, and a storage medium, and relates to the field of terminal technologies. In a depth information measurement scenario, it is first determined, based on a histogram obtained by using a depth detection module, whether a measured object is at a relatively short distance; when the measured object is at the relatively long distance, an envelope location of a crosstalk signal and an envelope location of a target signal in the histogram are relatively far apart on a horizontal axis, and a depth value is obtained in a double-peak subtraction manner; and when the measured object is at a relatively short distance, peaks of the two signals cannot be clearly distinguished, a preset reference signal is considered as a crosstalk signal actually detected within current detection duration, the target signal is restored from the histogram based on the preset reference signal, and then the depth value is obtained based on received time of the preset reference signal and received time of the target signal. A crosstalk signal returned by a glass cover plate is used as a reference signal and zero-distance point calibration is performed, to reduce interference of the crosstalk signal to the target signal returned from the measured object, and improve accuracy of depth information.
