Abstract

Embodiments of this application provide a scrolling display method, a device, a chip system, and a storage medium, and relate to the field of communication technologies. In this application, when a finger of a user slides up and down in a gallery, a RecyclerView may scroll in a same direction as a single-finger slide direction. When a top or a bottom of the RecyclerView is reached through scrolling, an electronic device moves the entire RecyclerView in a direction opposite to the single-finger slide direction, and fills the RecyclerView with content again. In this way, the electronic device only needs to fill the RecyclerView with the content after a movement, and does not need to perform size measurement and position calculation on each ItemView of the RecyclerView again. Therefore, a data processing procedure is optimized, data processing time during image scrolling in a gallery is shortened, and a frame drop problem during slide-up/down in the gallery is resolved.
