Abstract
Proposed concepts aim to provide methods and systems pertaining to determining a noise scaling value. In particular, embodiments aim to provide a method for determining a noise scaling value for a determined noise residuum based on a comparison of the values of pixels of a modified image with one or more weighted sums of one or more values of neighboring pixels of the modified image.
