Abstract
Disclosed is a method of testing an ECU (302) comprising an automated control module (304) adapted for controlling components of a vehicle. The method comprises receiving (200) a collection of joint embedding space vectors (122, 122') configured to encode a sensor data stream comprising sequential traffic images and a text scene descriptor. The method further comprises receiving (202) a selection of a joint embedding space vector (124) different from the collection of joint embedding space vectors. The method further comprises receiving (204) a generated text descriptor (128) in response to inputting the selected joint embedding space vector into a joint embedding space vector decoder model. The method further comprises receiving (206) a generated sequence of traffic images (132) in response to inputting the generated text descriptor into a text to video generator model and providing (208) the generated sequence of traffic images for the ECU testing.
