Abstract
The present invention provides a negative electrode for an all-solid-state rechargeable battery that is unlikely to cause a short circuit even when rapidly charged and can maintain a high battery capacity even when repeating charge and discharge cycles. The negative electrode for an all-solid-state rechargeable battery includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer, wherein the negative electrode mixture layer comprises a first layer forming a surface on the negative electrode collector side of the negative electrode mixture layer and a second layer forming a surface on the opposite side to the first layer of the negative electrode mixture layer, the first layer and the second layer each comprise a negative electrode active material, a carbon material, and a binder, an amount A of the binder in the first layer is greater than or equal to 5 parts by weight and less than or equal to 20 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of a total weight of the negative electrode active material and the carbon material in the first layer, an amount B of the binder in the second layer is greater than or equal to 1 part by weight and less than or equal to 10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the total weight of the negative electrode active material and the carbon material in the second layer, the amount A is greater than the amount B, and a difference between the amount A and the amount B is in a range of greater than or equal to 4 parts by weight and less than or equal to 19 parts by weight.
