Abstract
Method for fault detection and autonomous reconfiguration of a system comprising an electromechanical converter, capable of detection faults and autonomously reconfiguring itself to ensure post-fault operation with acceptable performance, said system comprising a permanent magnet synchronous motor with open-end windings, said motor comprising three identical groups of phases, each group of phases having five phases, each group of phases having a separate DC voltage source, and each group of phases having an inverter or a static converter with a H-bridge or full-bridge structure, in which method: if a first faulty phase is detected, then this faulty phase is isolated from its group and the four remaining phases of said group are reconfigured, such as to increase their currents to compensate at least in part the lost current of the faulty phase, and/or in which method, if a first faulty DC source is detected, the group to which said faulty DC source belongs is a disabled group, and the currents are increased in the two remaining groups, such as to compensate at least in part the lost current of the disabled group.
