Abstract
Provided are a wireless communication device (100) and a method for switching operation frequency bands. The wireless communication device (100) includes a first antenna, a second antenna, and a controller (130). The controller (130) is coupled to the first antenna and the second antenna and is configured to: monitor a first frequency band through the first antenna and the second antenna to obtain a first measurement result; and switch a data channel of the first antenna from the first frequency band to a second frequency band different from the first frequency band according to the first measurement result.
